If you’ve ever experienced ‘sciatica’ or inflammation in your sciatic nerve then you know what a literal pain in the butt it is. Issues with the Sacro-iliac joint and the sciatic nerve are often closely linked. This workshop covers why we may be experiencing these symptoms, what movements can bring relief both in the short and long term.
Importantly we cover the nuances of the movements which help the body respond positively to the stimulus it is being given.
The workshop is a mixture of discussion and movement based practice. We will cover breathing techniques, gentle pelvic and lower back movement, moving the whole body to help isolated painful areas plus where and how to release tension around the painful area.
