Summer Term - Hypopressive Scotland 'Breathe well- Stand tall-Live strong'

Hypopressives are a breath and alignment based exercise programme designed to strengthen and tone your core, improve alignment and postural muscle control, strengthen your back muscles, improve stamina and breath control and treat and prevent pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence.
Alongside Hypopressives we also use fascia and spine release techniques and have recently begun to add body weight strengthening to some of the classes.
Considering 1 in 3 women in the UK suffer from some sort of pelvic floor dysfunction post baby, with this number unfortunately increasing to 2 in 3 with age and the menopause it is important for there to be a safe alternative to high impact exercise for those that want to retain or improve stamina and strength.
