Autumn Aviemore Yoga Retreat

This extended retreat is an the opportunity to deepen your understanding of Asana, Meditation, Pranayama (traditional and modern conscious connected breathwork) and Philosophy. Take time away from your daily routines to truly immerse yourself in your yoga practice - 2 hour long physical practices (Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, Yin), 1 hour long Meditations (Guided and Silent), life changing Pranayama practises (learn to relax your nervous system and expand your sense of self) and gain an understanding of Yoga Philosophy & the Koshas - the 5 layers Koshas (layers of the self).

You'll experience the kind of extended practices you would experience on a yoga teacher training, designed to truly deepen your understanding of yoga - through embodiment. My hope is that this retreat offers an illuminated path forward and helps you create the life you want to live by integrating these practises into your daily life. An 'advanced' practice is not one that is performed, it doesn't look any particular way, it's one that is offers you freedom. An advanced practice allows you take up residence in your body, own your breath and have peace of mind.

​Who is this retreat for? Everyone, beginners and those with an existing yoga practice. There will also be plenty of time to relax, rest, swim, sauna and explore the gorgeous Inshriach Estate.

We'll spend our 4 nights at Inshriach Estate which is around 4 miles outside Aviemore on the backroad (B970) between Inverdruie and Feshiebridge. Inshriach House is and Edwardian Country House which has been creatively and quirkily restored. It sits in a 200 acre estate in the Cairngorms National park, surrounded by forests and mountains and bordered by 3 miles of the River Spey. We'll have access to all of this for the weekend! There will be a good amount of time to yourself during this 5 day retreat, I'll offer journal prompts, readings and self practises, but you'll of course spend your free time as you wish. You can choose to explore the grounds or even walk further afield. There's a gorgeous swimming spot on the estate to wild dip or swim, plus a quirky little sauna right next to it!

Prices are based on rooms and include all meals and accommodations for your 4 night stay at Inshriach. Transportation is not included.
