Details

This is a morning course consisting of 7 x 3 hour weekly classes with a half term break.

The Tennis Bracelet also known as a line bracelet or eternity bracelet is making a come back. It’s a versatile link that can be used with a variety of stones. This type of bracelet is made up of many identical parts linked together. This repetition of making builds skill in precise soldering, measuring and drilling.

On this course we introduce the basic concept of the link and how this can be adapted for various stones. We work with you to develop your design to suit your personal taste and the amount of stones you would like to set. We finish the bracelet with a hand fabricated box clasp which includes a safety catch.

Schedule

Week 1 : After an introduction to how the link works and how it’s made we spend this session designing and refining your tennis bracelet on paper. Once the design is finalised we begin sourcing the materials ready to start making in week 2.

Weeks 2 & 3 : Fabricating and connecting the links.

Weeks 4 & 5 : Making the box clasp.

Week 6 & 7 : Stone Setting.
