ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) is a standardized 2-day introductory suicide intervention training course developed by Livingworks in Calgary. It is offered throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and Australia.
ASIST is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. This basic training is mandatory for employment in many community agencies throughout Manitoba, and has been offered at Klinic since November 2006.

This ticket is for both dates of 2-day session. Full attendance of this 2-day training is required to receive the ASIST certificate.Cancellation of a registration can be made online up to 14 days prior to start date of event.We reserve the right to cancel a workshop due to insufficient registration and we will make every effort to provide as much advance notice as possible. Limited openings are available for Klinic staff and Klinic volunteers. Contact Leslie for availability and code required for registration.
