COMMUNITY
Our goal is, as always, to create a social event with real-time, live interaction between participants, in an attempt to recreate a community gathering as close as possible to one of our drop-in life drawing classes. Let's make this a really fun evening, together with a lot of other likeminded spirits from the art and graphics world!

ONLINE SAFETY especially for the MODEL
PLEASE READ THIS NOTE ON HOW WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP OUR MODELS SAFE
Zoom and online life modelling are NEW - new to us as job givers, and new to life models and performers. Life modelling in a physically enclosed space is challenging enough - the new "open" space in front of a camera lense broadcasting out into the ether is a whole different sort of UNKNOWN. We DON'T KNOW just yet which potential issues may arise from life models using this new "venue" - online modelling. But we know enough to know that we as employers need to look ahead, to try and proactively anticipate the potential risks and pitfalls of this new workspace. Our models are highly skilled, professional performers, the essential person in our drawing practice, and we feel we need to tailour our arrangements to guarantee their safety. Our team have stuck their heads together and we have come up with some rules for our online zoom classes and I'll outline them here. We will also remind you of these at the start of our sessions and during each session as well (for latecomers).
1) The model's LIVE IMAGE (ie. as you can see it on screen) is the MODEL'S property. Please do not screenshot it, photograph it or capture the image (still or moving), either for your own use or for any other purpose.
2) If you would like to use images of the model for your own purpose such as to work lateron on your own on drawing a pose, please ASK either BEFORE or DURING the zoom session and we will clarify to you whether the model is OK with this. Quite a number of models agree to such images of their poses being used by 1 person against a small fee, and as long as it is agreed beforehand this can add to the toolkit in your drawing practice.
3) If you use a "black"/blank in place of your own camera's image during zoom sessions, we would like to ask you to briefly show your face during the beginning of the session, so that you can identify yourself.
4) We offer our models the possibility to wear clothing as a way of masking parts of their body which they do not feel comfortable sharing. We will ALWAYS announce what the model will wear on the booking page, right at the top, where the model is introduced.
