LRWT AGM 2020 - Members only event

This year for the first time we will be holding our Trust Annual General Meeting online via Zoom on Wednesday 18th November. In these unprecedented times this is the only way we can effectively meet governance regulations, manage risks and ensure the safety of our members and staff. However, this does allow us the opportunity to engage with many more members than is usually possible and we hope that you will join us.

What’s the AGM about?
We’ll be bringing you up to date with LRWT’s highlights and many successes of 2019-20, introducing you to our new CEO, and explaining how exceptional challenges have been met with innovative and imaginative solutions by the whole team. As usual we’ll also be asking members formally to approve resolutions including our report and accounts for the past year and re-appoint Trustees where appropriate.

This will be followed by a talk with our speaker Jeremy Purseglove. His talk entitled 'Working with Nature', will explain how working with natural processes is a far more effective tool than attempting to constrain them.

You will need your membership number and the booking password to book your place, which you will have received in the post with your copy of the 2019-2020 LRWT Annual Review.

This is the only way that members can vote on resolutions on the agenda.

Please note the AGM will be recorded. By booking a space at the AGM, you would also be consenting to the AGM being recorded.
