Details

Join us for an evening talk, as we go on an Antarctic adventure with Ralph and Brenda Todd.

Two visits to this most magical and isolated Continent form the basis of this wildlife talk. Cruising from Ushuaia to the Falklands and onwards to the Antarctic Peninsula in November and again over Christmas and New Year, this journey includes in addition to six species of penguin, albatrosses, petrels etc. the magnificent icebergs and snow covered peaks, looks at seals, whales and life on board the cruise ship. The different timing of visits to the Peninsula provides an interesting contrast.

Ralph and Brenda Todd have been volunteering for the RSPB for over 45 years, they are both keen birdwatchers and photographers, have led many international birdwatching tours, as well as publishing a birdwatching book.
