This is a 4-part series happening on the first Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 in Oct, Nov, Jan & Feb. These do not have to be taken together. You're welcome to drop-in to any session or pay for the entire series for a lower fee.

The Importance of Fever -Oct 6th

Children get many fevers as they clear out their vessels to re-form themselves. Supporting ourselves and our family through fevers is essential so that we may maximize the healing properties and emerge stronger. Learn the value of fevers, how to manage them appropriately and when to seek help.

“Normal” Childhood Illness - November 3rd

Fevers, coughs, nasal congestion, ear pain, belly upsets and head colds are our bodies efforts at reinstating equilibrium. Join us for exploration into the healing nature of these inflammatory process' and some idea's about gentle management.

The Essential Need to Convalescence - January 5th

Our bodies work very hard to clean out during illness, after all good treatments a period of rest is essential in order to appropriately take up this clearing. Join us to learn about managing convalescence including tools such as remedies,baths and rhythms to most effectively strengthen.

Cuts, Burns, Bites & Such - February 2nd
As spring and summer approach we have more opportunities for light trauma. Join us for ideas of what to have on hand to support these ailments. Presentation may include compress', ointments, sprays and orals remedies. This session will discuss management of basic first aid from a holistic perspective.

Each class is $25 or enjoy all 4 classes for $80. Payment is required to save your seat. Space is limited. WE hope to see you there!

Trish McPhee RN, MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner-c

Trish has been a nurse since 1993 having graduated when her second child turned 3 years old. Soon after this she found Anthroposophic Medicine through Waldorf Education. Resigning her position in a surgical ICU at a large teaching facility she stepped into a small Anthroposophic Medical Practice in Fair Oaks California. Here she worked doing oil dispersion hydrotherapy and Anthroposophic nursing with various therapists and physicians for four and a half years. A move to the foothills called; here she bore her third child. In 2005 she completed her Masters in Nursing and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioners license and national certification as an FNP. The last several years she has spent in Private practice, Emergency medicine, and teaching workshops. She recently completed a 5 year study in Anthroposophic Medicine. Trish has passion for health of the young and old and doesn’t miss an opportunity to educate about the importance of fever and appropriate convalescence.
