What happens when we are truly connected? What do we notice when we focus on the other, not ourselves? What can we find in the nothing? This workshop will help improve the quality of our scenes and take the pressure off ourselves. Let’s enjoy a sense of play which begins by celebrating our scene partners.

Pippa Evans is Artistic Director and performer with Showstoppers! The Oliver Award winning improvised musical. She is also an actor, stand-up and member of the Glenda J Collective. Pippa will work with tools she has learnt and developed with her colleagues at over the last 10 years. These are tools that help to foster a true sense of connection with our fellow players.

PLUS you can catch Pippa performing tonight in The Suggestibles’ Special, also at the Cumberland Arms.

This course is suitable for adults with improv training and/or stage experience. You do not need to have both, but you do need to have one.

An historic pub with views. Entrance is through the front door then upstairs to the venue. Partially 'accessible' via back door ramp. Up-to 2 wheelchair spaces available per event. Toilets are in the main pub on the ground floor, so access to loos means going outside and entering through the main doors. The Cumberland has a bar and two rooms on the ground floor, with a large beer garden, an outdoor bar (weekends in the summer) and 4 upstairs B&B rooms.
