A laughter filled improv comedy workshop with the Suggestibles’ Ian McLaughlin. Expect tons of confidence boosting fun, creativity and gameplay while you learn the basics of improvisation in a safe and unpressured environment. A big kid at heart, Ian’s enthusiastic and energetic style is guaranteed to bring out the performer in you too.

Newcastle Improv Festival director, Ian has been teaching and performing improv for 30 years. He is co-founder of the Suggestibles improv comedy troupe and of School of Improv here in Newcastle, and has performed and taught across the UK and internationally.

Just wear comfy clothes, and bring bottled water along.

Suitable for adults and young people aged 16+. (Under 16s are not allowed. There's a similar workshop for them Tuesday this week). For health and safety, this workshop is not suitable for people with mobility issues to take part.
