Details

Two half-day sessions, 9.00am-12.45pm on 16th and 17th October. You must attend both sessions.

Meeting the Challenges is aimed at Members who hold Manager and Supporter roles in Scouting. Supporters include volunteers, who don’t line manage other volunteers, but who work with and support adults in Scouting, e.g. Assistant District Commissioner (Development).

Meeting the Challenges is one of three Skills Courses which aims to provide Managers and Supporters with the skills they need in order to carry out their role effectively and support others in doing the same.

It will allow learners to build upon knowledge gained from the Independent Learning and apply this to real life Scouting situations. It identifies places where further information and support can be found.

Instructies

Joining instructions, handouts and the Zoom link will be emailed out to you at least a week before the course. If you have a Hotmail account, please keep an eye on your junk email box.

Please make sure that you have completed the necessary independent learning linked to this course before part one on 16th October. Ask your Training Adviser or Local Training Manager if you need guidance
