Join us in Hodgkin Park for our Benwell Family Sessions! Wednesdays 10am-12pm starting 27th April and running for 5 weeks, in partnership with North East Wilds.
Play games, learn about nature, develop gross and fine motor skills, splash in the mud, relax in a hammock, build dens, listen to stories, sing songs, develop and grow as a family and as a community.
You will see we are offering a sliding scale for places (free, half price and full price tickets).We are able to offer these subsided spaces with thanks to Arnold Clark, Tescos, Coop and Community Health Fund. We are keen to keep the sessions free for those who need it as it’s really important to us that those who face barriers to accessing sessions are supported to access our groups. If you would like/are able to pay for a half/full price ticket then we are really grateful as this will help keep our sessions free for those who need it. We also understand that many families are facing difficulties at the moment so there is absolutely no pressure to pay. If the free tickets are 'sold out’ and you would like support then please contact us.
We can offer a 10% sibling discount on priced tickets, contact admin@stomping-grounds.org for the code.

We will be in the park come rain or shine, and will be encouraging exploration and messy play. Children and supervising adults should dress appropriately for the weather and the activities taking place. For example, layers of clothes to keep warm (even in the sun, it can get cold under the shade of the trees), wellies or walking boots, waterproof all in ones or waterproof jacket and trousers. If it is warm, please still wear long sleeves to protect arms and legs. We only cancel if wind speeds exceed 30mph so keep your eye on the weather. In the rare event of cancellation, an alternative date will be offered.
