Details

THE DUTCH HOUSE is a richly moving story that explores the indelible bond between two siblings, the house of their childhood, and a past that will not let them go. It is the story of a paradise lost, a modern fairy tale that digs deeply into questions of inheritance, love and forgiveness, of how we want to see ourselves and of who we really are.
Pulitzer Prize Finalist.

Ann Patchett is the author of eight novels, four works of nonfiction, and two children's books. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the PEN/Faulkner, the Women's Prize in the U.K., and the Book Sense Book of the Year. Her work has been translated into more than thirty languages.
