Join us for a fun discussion of Willodeen, a lovely tale taking place in a village very similar to pre-industrial England, but with mythical creatures like tiny hummingbears and poor smelly screechers. It is a story of ecological changes, friendship, love of nature and finding the courage to speak up for a greater cause.
Katherine Applegate is the author of award-winning books, including Crenshaw, Wishtree, and The One and Only Ivan.
