Daily professional class at Rambert.
A range of technical classes every morning with a different visiting artist each week. Check our website for who will be teaching this week.
Every Wednesday, we will be live streaming our professional class from the Rambert studio to your home. Places will be limited to ensure a quality experience for all attending.
This is an online class and the zoom details will be sent with your confirmation email upon booking.
With any online class, there are a few things to note:
Please be aware of your own body, its capabilities and the space you have available to you. Although the teacher will be able to see you and offer general guidance, they will not be able to offer individual corrections.
Please have your camera on throughout class, but be muted unless you want to ask a question. Please note, although the teacher will direct the class to both the room and the camera, there might be instances where they need to turn to the dancers in the room and speak to them directly.
Before you join in, we ask that you follow these guidelines so that everyone can to enjoy the experience:
• Safe space
– Be kind and respectful in this shared space.
– Prepare a suitable space to dance in by removing any obstacles 2 metres around you and having an even floor.
– Be mindful of the floor surface you are working on as wooden and laminate floors are more slippery than carpet.
– If anyone is disruptive, the moderator reserves the right to remove you from the class.
• Ability
– You are the best judge of your ability.
– Teachers will guide the class and make suggestions, however you must choose how far to take movement to stretch you beyond your comfort zone without injuring yourself.
• Clothing
– Wear loose and comfortable clothing and remove any jewellery that might cause harm while you are moving.
