"I have for some years now been travelling over the Welsh border whenever the Bristol Salsa Orchestra have been playing and singing. In my 20 years as a dancer around the world, as a teacher and someone who just loves Salsa music, the BSO are by far one of the very best live bands I have had the pleasure to dance and listen to. Ever since my very first exposure to BSO some years ago, I have wanted to bring these guys over for one of our own events in Wales. My dream has finally come true! Now it's my pleasure to give you the PERFECT Xmas present in this opportunity to hear and dance to live Salsa music from an amazing 7 piece (for our event) orchestra including singer, of great talents at this stunning venue. BRISTOL SALSA ORCHESTRA is a fusion of Latin musicians and singers from Bristol and other UK cities. Willian Velasquez, the producer and manager of the band, links his ideas and creations to different high-level artists to create a show where dancers enjoy to dance. Bringing a fresh take on that old-school and new Salsa sound to devoted fans across the globe.

The band has fused Salsa styles with Salsa dura, roots of Cuban son and Salsa of the 70's such as Mambo, Guaracha, Guaguancó, Cha Cha, this has made them have their own style of music.

BSO focuses on playing music in the Salsa socials, Salsa music for the dancers, without going at a very fast speed or where the songs last more than five minutes, that is why BSO are perfect for the Salsa social.
