Please note there is no class on 12th October
In this course for complete beginners you'll learn how to pose on and move around the pole, plus plenty of fun spins. It's a great introduction to pole dancing.
You don't need super-strength or any previous dance experience to enjoy this class.
Instructor: Hannah Marita
Who's it for: People of any gender aged 16+
Please bring water to drink.
To get the best out of the class you'll need to wear shorts and a vest (the more skin contact with the pole the better) and avoid wearing body lotions which can make the poles slippery and hard for everyone to use. No rings, bracelets or belts to be worn when using the poles.
(Please note: the studio is in an old industrial building and can be cold in winter- please bring layers such as jumper, leg warmers etc for the warm-up which can be removed during class. Soft jazz shoes can also be worn).
We ask you to please read and follow the following new guidance for attending classes at Skytribe studio:
-Although we are limiting student numbers at the studio, our poles are shared. each student will be supplied with a clean cloth and must clean the pole after each use, your instructor will guide you through this
-Arrive no more than 5 minutes before class is due to start and leave swiftly at the end of your session
-Use hand sanitiser on arrival to the studio
-Where possible come dressed ready for class and only use the changing room if unavoidable
-Remember to maintain social distancing throughout the venue and keep exits clear for students leaving the class before yours
