Our beginners course is the perfect introduction to Parkour and our classes. Suitable for ages 8-15 years. They are designed to progress new learners, week by week through the core areas of movement of Parkour, preparing them for our regular weekly junior classes:
Week 1 - Jumping, Landing, Balancing
Week 2 - Vaulting
Week 3 - Climbing
Week 4 - Teamwork/Group Challenges
Week 5 - Testing and Assessment (Longer session finishing at 8:30pm)
The final (5th) week is a longer session to test and apply what has been learned and practiced. An email heading out after the final session to confirm the most suitable class to attend to provide each new learner with the most suitable class; beginners classes, foundations or intermediates.
FULL course attendance is highly recommended for all in order to progress from the course. Assessment criteria includes but is not limited to: physical competency, listening skills, problem solving, approach to challenge, discipline and respect.
** Booking closes 2 days ahead of the start date/time. Please ensure loose, comfortable clothing, trainers a bottle of water/juice and a jumper for leaving the session is brought with the student.
Any medical conditions/allergy medications required such as inhalers, epipens etc should be brought to each session in case of emergencies. **
