Space @ Waikato Playcentres is a programme mainly for first time parents and their babies. The Space programme runs for 3 to 4 terms (approximately 30-40 weeks). Families enroll at one centre that is running Space, and commit to attending that programme regularly. Babies joining a new Space session are generally between 3 weeks and 4 months of age and parents stay on session with their babies.

Due to the structure of the Space programme, it is necessary to group together babies of similar ages. It may be necessary to travel to a centre that is running a Space programme appropriate for your baby's age and development
