This is your chance to experience the sight sound and power of the mighty and iconic Spitfire. Your experience will include sitting in the aircraft cockpit to have your pictures taken using your own camera . You will be given a briefing on the aircraft and its controls by one of our experienced team and you will then start up the 27 Litre V 12 Rolls Royce engine. The engine run lasts for 1 minute in which time it will burn between one and two gallons of fuel. Your complete experience will last for around 20 minutes. We can only run the engine once every hour so spaces are strictly limited. If the full experience is fully booked You may be able to sit in the aircraft for to have your picture taken this will depend on availability on the day and no booking is required. The cost of sitting in the cockpit is £10. Spitfire experience bookings do not include entry to the event or any other additional attractions the Railway may charge for.

Spitfire experience deposit required
The Spitfire experiance cost £40 you will be required to pay a £10 deposit to confirm your booking and the balance tof £30 to be paid on the day. Deposits are non refundable.

Toddington Station is currently the northern terminus of the GWSR and is the ideal joining point for visitors from the Midlands, being just 15 minutes from Junction 9 of the M5. For "Satnav" users the postcode is GL54 5DT. There is an overflow car park located about five minute's walk away, along the Stow Road.
