This camp is for 4-11 year olds. It is designed to increase your child's knowledge and skill level within sports, increase their self-esteem and provide the environment to create positive relationships with peers.
Morning: Arrival and invasion activities where the participants are working in groups or pairs.
Second activity: Practising and playing the first chosen sport e.g. hockey, tennis, cricket, football, basketball.
Third activity: Practising and playing the second chosen sport.
Lunch!! Hang out with your peers and eat a packed lunch. Coaches test their sporting IQ in daily lunch quizzes.
Afternoon: Mini matches, a round-robin tournament for the sport of the day.
WHERE TO GO: Enter through the main entrance on Cobbold rd and head to the reception area of the school.
You must sign your child in at the desk located in the reception. Children are not to go straight onto the playing area without signing IN.
WHAT TO BRING: Water bottle, food: A snack or lunch depending on the duration of the booking. Please make sure packed lunch can sustain the children if they are staying at camp for the full day. No sharing or exchanging food products. Someone may have an allergy so we are against sharing or exchanging food.
WHAT TO WEAR: Comfy/easy to move in clothing: e.g., clothes they would wear for PE. Relaxed dressing. NO jeans, shoes or Wellies.
At collection, please ensure you sign your child out with a member of the team before you leave the site. No child will be allowed to leave the site without being signed out unless we are provided with signed written consent from a parent/guardian that they are allowed to leave alone.
