Designing and Delivering Person-Centered Services - Free Virtual Event

This is an online event.

Joining instructions will be provided after booking.

Details

This course is presented using funding provided by DHS to help ensure people have access to the highest quality home and community based supports.

Providers licensed to provide Home and Community Based Services have no doubt heard about and often receive training in person-centered philosophy. This frequently includes person-centered documentation, maybe even using specific person-centered tools. How do we move from what we capture on paper to taking action? This course will explore how to put person-centered philosophy into practice every day. We will look at how you can implement some of the core values including dignity of risk, helping a person make their own choices, asserting rights, and finding ways for the person to be an active, contributing member of their community.
