The Leicester Teaching School Alliance is pleased to be able to offer this exciting opportunity for Teachers, History Subject Leaders and Curriculum Leaders to come along to share best practice and learn more about the resources and opportunities on offer for History.

“The Leicester History Network is a friendly, experienced and passionate group of History teachers and Subject Leads from across the City and County, committed to collaboration and the sharing of ideas for the benefit of all students in the region.  We meet regularly to share resources, debate, challenge and collaborate.  Recent topics have included assessment without levels, transition from KS2 to KS3 and GCSE exam changes.  Facilitated by Ashley Bartlett, SLE and former Head of History and Alf Wilkinson (Text Book Author, examiner and former CPD lead at the Historical Association), we welcome colleagues from both primary and Secondary schools and are always keen to hear your suggestions moving forward.”
