ASP and Inspection Dashboard for Senior Leaders

Wednesday, 11 December '19   9am - 3pm
Rushey Mead Academy, Melton Road, Leicester, LE4 7AN

Analyse School Performance Service (ASP) is the replacement to RAISEonline and this workshop offers you the opportunity to gain guidance and support on how to use the Service effectively, in order to improve school performance. It will be directed towards navigating, interpreting and evaluating the data provided, in order to gain the highest possible value from the information.

By attending the workshop you will learn how to:

  • Effectively navigate the Analyse School Performance (ASP) Service
  • Interpret and analyse the data within the new ASP Service (using your own school data from last academic year)
  • Gain an insight as to how Ofsted could view your data

To complement this, the workshop also looks at the Inspection Dashboard and focuses on providing technical guidance for using it. It also looks at the methodology used to highlight strengths or weaknesses in the data contained within the dashboard.

The workshop is facilitated by Giles Osborne who is currently an Associate Principal at a secondary school in London. He has worked in a range of good and outstanding schools and was formerly an advisor to Kent LEA and a Senior University Lecturer at Brighton, Cambridge and Canterbury Christ Church. He is a national trainer for Analyse School Performance and is currently supporting academy chains as an Improvement Partner on preparation for Ofsted and data strategy, as well as working with a range of alternative provisions. He is the co-creator of ‘TEAM’, the National Database for SEMH schools and PRUs and a national bench marking tool and progress model.
