Aims
This course, run in partnership with Disability Rights UK, focuses on the disability assessment and claims process in PIP. It enables participants to identify potential entitlement and support claimants through effective form-filling and the medical assessment.

By the end of the course participants will:
Methods of delivery
This is a practical course. It is delivered using a combination of trainer presentation, group work and exercises, case studies, group discussion and games.
Intended audience
This course is for staff working with working age people who are affected by a health condition or a disability. No previous experience is required although a working knowledge of the wider benefits system is helpful.
