Whilst ProDanceLeeds is in hiatus, ACCA’s company class offers a place where the dance community in and around Leeds, can come together to connect and practise. ACCA’s sessions will be alternatively led by one of its members: Charlotte Arnold and Anna Cabré-Verdiell, and it is a space for professional movers to maintain their daily training.
Anna’s class aims for movement and thought efficiency. The sessions often start with a little meditation to get together and suggest an idea or ‘headline’ to be explored during the class. Then we get moving through relational play, crossings and movement patterns.
Charlotte’s class is motivated by the quest for easy movement. Using principles of momentum, gravity and inertia to move with less effort, the class moves through a traditional format with floorwork, curves, spirals and plies, as well as improvisation and exploring set material.
All welcome to attend, although this is a professional level class. Pre-booking is essential.

To DSL: Route 42 – Direction ‘Fearnville’ Stop Number 450 10293 (This bus stop is located across the road from the Mill complex on Lincoln Green Road).
To City Centre: Route 42 – Direction ‘Old Farnley’ Stop Number 450 10292 (This is located a few mins walk along Lincoln Green Road).

If you are travelling into Leeds by train we are located a 20-25 minute walk from the station.
