Details

On this course you will learn the fundamentals of cooking food sous vide.

Sous vide is a low-temperature cooking method where food is vacuum-sealed and slowly cooked in a water bath. The name is French for "under vacuum," and uses heated water to gently cook food so that it stays juicy and full of flavour.

We will teach you the theory behind this process alongside hands on experience of cooking various meats and fish using this method. More importantly, we will give you the expertise to recreate these techniques at home without the use of costly equipment.

During this fun-packed day you will be making several dishes and menus will be finalised nearer the time to take advantage of seasonal items.

Participants will go home with all of their recipes and creations to share or freeze, as well as some fantastic memories of the day. During the day you will stop for a short break and eat one of the dishes you have created, sitting with each other, allowing for more in-depth questions or conversation.

All dietary requirements, allergies and intolerances can be catered for with prior notice.
We are a Covid Secure Venue, keeping our classes small with protective measures in place between each work station.
