ONLY existing Transportwise Learners can use this service.
Using a proctored examination facility, Skills and Education Group (SEG) now offer this to learner's wishing to resit their Multiple-choice (MCQ) examination.
Examinations will be conducted online at a suitable location in accordance with rules as detailed in the event attachment - How to access a SEG awards proctored exam learner guide CPC version.
You MUST be in a room on you own and free from non-emergency interruption during the examination.
You will require use of a fully functioning LAPTOP equipped with a webcam, speaker and microphone along with a reliable broadband service, all of which must be working during the live examination. A wired or integrated mouse and or keyboard is permitted, however additional monitor screens are NOT. Other peripherals including data storage devices must be removed. Please double-check your arrangements before your examination starts.
All must be working and on for the duration of your examination and pre-examination proctoring checks.
All other apps must be closed down, including all messaging and alarm prompts (pop ups) like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
A hyperlink will be emailed to you in advance of your examination appointment. This will take you to a log in screen for the XAMS examination service via Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
You are NOT permitted to leave the room, nor have drinks during the examination.
The XAMS proctoring service includes a help service.
DO NOT bring any electronic device into the room with you. Including a phone.
