Every body can move! The rhythms club is a space for you to ‘dance like no one is watching’ It’s a supportive, judgement free space where you have the persmission to move how you feel. To suport your health and well-being through gentle movement and uplifting tunes. Release, relax, shake off & lighten.
Beginners are welcome!

Nikki Ashley has been dancing & studying the 5Rhythms for 14 years. She trained to teach in 2014 with Jonathan Horan, son of Gabrielle Roth. Nikki comes from a background in Traditional Theatre, Theatre in Education and Forum Theatre. She was a founding member of the dancingTao CIC and has been a mentor to 5Rhythms teachers in training. Her current workshops and classes are for all, as well as specialising in holding spaces for women & elders.

Our CIC ~ We are committed to bringing movement practice into support of growth for individuals, communities and the world field. We operate as a CIC (Community Interest Company) and we seek to welcome all dancers and 'non-dancers' into movement.
Flowing, Staccato, Chaos, Lyrical, Stillness
~ danced in sequence they create a wave, a moving meditation journey from one state of being to another.
5Rhythms can be experienced by anyone regardless of their physical limitations.
There are no specific moves to learn and dancers can participate at their own pace, within their own capacity to move.

GUIDELINES & PROTOCOLS
~ Ensure you have created a safe dancefloor for yourself free from clutter. Your safety is your responsibility.
~ Move at your own pace and in ways that suit your own body. We cannot take responsibility for any injuries sustained as a result of participating in these sessions.
~ Have a jug of water to hand
~ Set up anything else you would like to, nice lighting, a candle
~ Switch off you mobile (if you are not using it for the class), television etc and any other distractions
~ Give yourself plenty of time to arrive and get the technicals sorted
~ Please arrive on time and stay until the end of the session
