The Shift Cowl by Andrea Mowry could be looked upon as the Nightshift’s baby sister. It too has gorgeous shifting colours and a fascinating mosaic pattern. However The Shift has different shaping and uses far less yarn. This course will teach you the essential techniques used in this cowl, and get you started on knitting one of your very own.
Skills: Beginner/Novice, should be able to knit and purl, will teach any techniques past that.
Materials: The needles you require will depend on the yarn you chose. Likely you will need a 4 to 5 mm circular needle with a length of 60 cm or 80cm. You will also need to purchase the yarn for this project. Our Wabi Sabi staff can help you with your choices. Please come to class with your yarn purchased and wound so that you are ready to knit!
Pattern: Students must purchase The Shift pattern from Ravelry https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-shift and we recommend that you print it and bring it with you.

Cancellation Policy
Students must cancel at least 2 weeks before the class is scheduled in order to receive a refund. Should the store cancel a class, students will receive a full refund. Please note that Wabi Sabi reserves the right to postpone and reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this be the case, we will make every effort to contact students to let them know of the cancellation and to arrange a makeup class.
