Toe Up or Cuff Down Sock - March 5, 12, 19, & 26

At long last - it’s a toe up or cuff down sock class!

This class is all about socks, and how they are constructed. You will have the option of knitting a top-down sock, or a toe-up sock, and have the choice of circular (magic loop) or double-pointed needles. We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each technique, and students will also have the option of trying out two-at-a-time sock knitting.

Intermediate knitting experience is required - students should be confident in casting on, binding off, knitting, and purling. For first-time sock knitters, or those with less free time or tighter deadlines, there will also be a faster-knit version on a heavier gauge sock yarn.

Supplies are not included, but all students will receive a 15% in-store discount on supplies for the course. Supplies will be purchased in the first class, but if you already have a sock yarn you'd like to use, please bring at least 100g, and the needles suggested on the ball band.

Cancellation Policy
Students must cancel at least 2 weeks before the class is scheduled in order to receive a refund. Should the store cancel a class, students will receive a full refund. Please note that Wabi Sabi reserves the right to postpone and reschedule a class due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this be the case, we will make every effort to contact students to let them know of the cancellation and to arrange a makeup class.
