This Basics of Effective Phonics Teaching covers basic subject knowledge focusing on terminology, how to ensure you are using the correct pace, the importance of high expectations and tips for running interventions. Suitable for teachers and support staff in EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 who are using any systematic, synthetic phonics programme.
This is a re-run of our popular course. If you have attended a session by this name in the past, there is no need to attend as the content will be the same.

This course is fully funded by the English Hub so there is no charge for state-funded primary schools from any of our Wandle Hub boroughs.However, if you are unable to attend you will need to cancel 48 hours in advance otherwise you are likely to incur a £40 administration fee.
