Join our free, fun interactive music webinar for all Early Years practioners - suitable for non-music specialists and musicians alike. The webinar is led by Steve Grocott, qualified teacher, musician and composer who specialises in music and storytelling in Early Years and Y1.

Making any kind of music stimulates and connects our physical, emotional and cognitive selves more that any other activity. It is also the best way to connect us with each other, bringing any kind of group together.

This interactive Zoom session explores these connections and provides simple enjoyable material to foster children’s personal and social development.

If you are currently using the internet to connect with children you will learn material to use, and ways of encouraging the children to engage with the songs and to be creative with them,  that will continue to be useful after lockdown ends.

By joining this webinar you will:

● Gain a repertoire of tried and tested songs and rhymes that is rich in content and that children really enjoy

● Learn simple ideas and techniques that increase your confidence in your own musicality, including how to develop lively rhythm and body work

● Learn how your music sessions connect with the EYFS curriculum

● Enjoy yourself enormously while deepening your ability to use music inclusively to enhance wellbeing
