Northern Devon PINN Forum: for Practitioners in Meeting Neurodivergent Needs
Tuesday, 22 April 2025

We are thrilled to announce the next Northern Devon Forum for Practitioners in Meeting Neurodivergent Needs (PINN Forum). This essential event will bring together service providers and professionals dedicated to supporting neurodivergent individuals in our community.

The PINN Forum is a unique platform that facilitates collaboration, resource sharing, and the development of innovative strategies to enhance the support available. Your participation will help shape the future of neurodiversity advocacy and service provision in Northern Devon.

The forum is aimed at those working in health, education, social care, and similar sectors; working in support roles, advisory roles, clinical roles, or in educational provision and day services, amongst others. You don't need to be a neurodiversity 'specialist' - this is about building connections between services and learning from each other for the benefit of our shared service users.

Schedule for the Spring 2025 PINN Forum:

TBA

The Spring 2025 Forum will have an overarching theme: Intersectionality, and we're delighted to confirm that Toni Rance from Sunrise Diversity will be our guest contributor for this.

Stay tuned for a detailed schedule.

Event Aims and Highlights:

Networking: Connecting with fellow practitioners with shared interests in autism and neurodiversity to expand your professional network.

Knowledge Sharing: Exchanging insights and learning from the latest research and practices in neurodivergent support.

Collaborative Discussions: Working together to develop actionable and achievable solutions for challenges and barriers faced by neurodivergent individuals.

Service Awareness: Enhancing awareness of, and signposting to, local services and opportunities that benefit neurodivergent service-users.

Peer and Action Learning: Space for in peer-to-peer learning and best practice exchanges; fostering cross-disciplinary understanding and collaboration.

Joined-Up Working: Laying the groundwork for collaborative efforts to support autistic and neurodivergent communities, and drive wider systemic change.

We look forward to seeing you.
