A Special Afternoon of mindful movement just for you. Core strength is a foundational element for good posture, body mobility and injury prevention. “The core” is far more involved than just your abdominals or the ‘6-pack’ – and can be experienced as a whole body connection that can allow you to feel stable, to access healthy strength and to support your spine and posture. At this workshop Learn and/or Improve upon some classic Yoga & Pilates movements which help you to focus on different areas of the muscular midline while appreciating whole body awareness and mindful breathing techniques. And enjoy an afternoon of focused practice which also aims to integrate some of the physical, emotional and mental elements that align with the Navel Chakra. All workshops close with a soothing guided relaxation.
PLEASE bring your mat, blanket and any props you like to feel comfortable.
Yoga Blocks, Bricks and Belts are provided.
