Tea Ceremony: Movement, Mindfulness and Medicine with Anz

Mindfulness is the thread that weaves together this delicious offering of guided intuitive movement, pranayama (breath), journaling and ceremonial tea sharing. Inspired by the teachings and philosophies of Tara Brach and the late Thich Nhat Hahn, this workshop invites you to indulge in a dance of the senses progressing from movement to stillness.

Ceremonial tea drinking reminds us to slow down. As we fill our cups we also fill the vessel of ourselves increasing our capacity to be present and happy with who we are, here and now. A warming cup of tea creates a safe meditative place to open, ground, digest, and heal.

Reconnect with yourself and a community (Sangha), learn tools for cultivating mindfulness in your day to day, and nourish yourself with medicine of mother nature’s herbs.
