Yin Yoga is a slow-paced class that works with stillness to allow the body and mind to relax. Each posture is floor-based and held for 3 -5 minutes with the support of cushions and blankets. This increases blood flow through the joints, tissues, and muscles and allows for greater release and stretch. It also deeply heals the body and relaxes the mind.
Commit to taking some time off for yourself this year. Take this opportunity to conserve your energy and relax. We will support the organs associated with winter, the kidneys and bladder and finish the session with a long relaxation and yoga nidra.
