Menopause can be a challenging time, and unfortunately many women are still unsure about the symptoms and how to cope. Yoga can help ! Gentle movement and breathing practices can ease the body and mind, while deep relaxation can soothe stress.
This afternoon event is for anyone in any stage of the menopause. We will discuss the symptoms of menopause and how yoga might help. Movements to build strength and flexibility will be included, along with breath work that could ease hot flushes. We will also include techniques that could help people to cope with anxiety. The afternoon will finish with an extended relaxation to melt away tension.
A group of women joining together have been demonstrated to release oxytocin - the cuddle hormone, so just the experience of joining together will make you feel a bit better !
Come along and treat yourself to a lovely afternoon of nurturing yoga and deep relaxation, with a break for afternoon tea and cake !

Please bring everything you need - all your usual yoga gear, along with two pillows and two cushions. You might like an extra blanket too so you’re super comfy for relaxation.
