Course lead: Imelda Spencer of Positive Relations Plus
Governors will learn how to identify all forms of abuse and will discuss the safeguarding themes from KCSIE 2018. They will be introduced to safeguarding procedures, referral routes, understand the role and responsibilities of the DSL; develop understanding about legislation around child protection and thresholds of needs. The course will also cover the safeguarding duty and responsibilities of the governing body.
