I have been a dance teacher and fitness instructor for over 35 years and worked as an actor and performer in the industry after gaining a scholarship to train at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London.
FITNESS YOGA and SEATED FITNESS YOGA classes are aimed at all levels and are beneficial to both mind and body, improving physical fitness, but perhaps most importantly, emphasising the importance of finding space to breathe and time for you.
SO....WHAT IS FITNESS YOGA?
Fitness Yoga incorporates stretch, strength and Yoga postures and is validated from a fitness perspective.
Benefits include improved flexibility, increased range of movement around joints, leading to more effective and efficient movement with better posture, self-awareness and an enhanced sense of wellbeing
Fitness Yoga focuses on transitions from one posture to another, strengthening skeletal muscles as you lift and lower the body to hold postures or flow from a lunge, to a plank, to a downward facing dog..
A fantastic mind & body class choice where postures are tweaked and manipulated to hit the body’s major muscle groups effectively, whilst at the same time, the peaceful environment of class allows you to practice at your own pace to suit your mood and energy levels.
Seated Fitness Yoga, a gentle practice in which yoga postures and breathing exercises are performed while seated or with the aid of a chair, promoting mobility, strength and mindfulness.
BEGINNERS, INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED FITNESS PILATES 8-WEEK COURSES.
Beginners Fitness Pilates is an introductory class directed at those who are new or starting out in the practice.
Intermediate Fitness Pilates is a class directed at those who are building on their knowledge gained at beginners level with more scope for overall improvement in all areas of their practice. Advanced Fitness Pilates is aimed at those ready to move on to the next challenge after practicing at Intermediate level for some time.
SO......WHAT IS FITNESS PILATES?
Fitness Pilates is a 55 minute class that focuses on the body as a human kinetic chain. It applies fundamental Pilates techniques and exercises aiming to offset musculoskeletal imbalances.
The benefits of Fitness Pilates are:
Increased muscular balance and strength
Improved posture
Facilitates the ability to optimally function occupationally and recreationally
Maintaining core muscle stability whilst being challenged by body movement
Increased flexibility and strength of the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine

CLASSES EXCLUSIVE TO ZOOM!
FULL BODY STRENGTH WORKOUT is the perfect way to get fit, lean and toned using hand weights and body weight.
From the comfort of your own home, jump onto a Zoom 45 minute workout and get on with your day!
BALLET YOGA PILATES is a hybrid class that draws upon traditional ballet moves alongside postures and flows from Fitness Yoga and Pilates. It strengthens, stretches and challenges the body in a beautiful way. Again, via Zoom, after 45 minutes you can continue your day feeling uplifted and powerful.
MOVE TO THE GROOVE! with funky music playing, you are invited to a party in your own home - and you'll be having so much fun you wont even realise you've covered over 2 miles during the class. A great active session for all fitness levels where we tap into those feel good hormones and smile as we move to the groove!
