Classes last for 1 hour and follow a similar structure with variations:
Pranayama(breathing techniques)
Mantra (chanting)
Seated & Standing Asana (Static Poses) - On the mat for beginner classes, on a chair for seated classes
Guided Visualisations, Relaxation & Meditation

I use proceeds from my classes to support Leicester Animal Aid, Wishes 4 Kids Leicester & Samaritans.

I'm Tori Magee
I have been fascinated in the physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga since I started practising as a teenager as a warm up for my ballet classes
In my 20s, I tried lots of yoga classes and struggled to find a space that felt 100% beginner friendly, welcoming, accessible for all abilities whilst staying authentic to traditional yoga

Having studied Traditional Hatha Yoga in the Himalaya of India and Nepal in 2013 and 2014, I found a deeper appreciation for a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
I began to focus on clean eating, mindfulness and mediation along with my physical yoga practise and found a huge improvement in my overall outlook on life.

My aim is to offer a safe, not judgmental and encouraging environment for my students to cultivate gratitude and love, for themselves and others and pass on my knowledge in an accessible way to help others physically and emotionally

Whether you are brand new to yoga or have experience, I endeavour to offer an authentic yoga class that is accessible to everyone regardless of your physical ability, any injuries or conditions

I hold a 200hr Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification from Bhakti Yogshala, Rishikesh, India - my course was focused on the correct alignment of the asanas (poses) and anatomy. This foundation has allowed me to help students with physical injuries and chronic conditions through movement. I studied Mantra, Pranayama & Meditation Techniques which I also incorporate into my beginner classes.

I also hold a 500hr Yoga Alliance Advanced Teaching Certification, from Guruji A L V Kumar of Traditional Yoga & The Yoga Healing Foundation of India.
This course allowed me to have a deeper knowledge of the origins of Yogic Philosophy. The ashram's teachings honour the pure lineages, Guruji studied at the Sivananda Ashram under Swamy Vishnudevananda. He has also practiced asana directly with BKS Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, Desikachar.

The advanced course gave me a deeper understanding of the connection between physical and spiritual cleansing for overall health.
I learnt the importance of using Ayurvedic nutrition & Shat Kriya cleansing for the health of the physical body, mind and eternal energy

As well as teaching more advanced asana & pranayama, Guruji taught me to surrender my own perceptions through dharana, and dhyana meditation.
He encouraged me to remove my judgments, let go of my attachment to preconceived ideas and expectations. Traditional Vedic teachings help us to break away from our conditioning through teachings of pure love and acceptance with zero resistance.
