AFTER THE STORM | The Exhale

Details

Growing up in Johannesburg, I knew the thunderstorms intimately.

Blue sky all day. Then black clouds building from the south, around 3pm. By 4pm the rain would come, hard and sudden and loud. An hour later it was over. The temperature had dropped five degrees. The air smelled different. And then, from the ground, the flying ants would emerge, termites taking their one flight, wings catching the last light before dark.

You had to have been present to see it. If you were indoors, hunkered down, you missed all of it.

AFTER THE STORM | The Exhale is a full-day 5Rhythms workshop built around that moment. The storm as the wave itself. The question of how we ride through it without losing ourselves in the process.

The medicine is learning to stay present and moving. Not bracing, not hiding, not exhausting yourself fighting. So that when it clears you are there to receive what it leaves behind.
Because something always waits on the other side. The lyrical clearing when the temperature drops and something you couldn't name before suddenly feels possible.

We will move through the full 5Rhythms wave shaped by the arc of a storm. The sensing. The gathering. The breaking. The riding and the not-knowing. The lyrical clearing. And the stillness when the dust has settled, the ground is nourished, and it's done.

Some experience of 5Rhythms is helpful. If you're new, drop me a message before booking.
