There comes a moment in the season when the trees stop holding on.
green turns gold.
full becomes bare.
reaching outward begins its long return inward.
And still, something remains.
DISSOLVE is a weekend exploration of the threshold between Lyrical and Stillness - the shapeshifting dance of autumn giving way to the quiet, spacious mystery of winter.

Lyrical teaches us the art of becoming.
It loosens the identities we have gathered around ourselves. It asks us to shapeshift, to travel lighter, to discover what becomes possible when we stop gripping so tightly to who we have been.
And then comes Stillness.
The silver desert.
Bare. Spacious. Awake.
Stillness does not ask us to disappear. It asks us to become quiet enough to notice what remains.
Across three days of movement, breath, embodied inquiry, and shared practice, we will explore the passage from soul to spirit through ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ญ, ๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ก - listening for what the body has gathered, what is ready to dissolve, and the deeper truth that was never lost.
As we follow the wave of the 5Rhythms map, can we reach lyrical to rejoice in all that has moved through us? To let the hands celebrate what has been touched, held, created, and loved?
And as we enter stillness and the dance grows quieter, can we listen for what remains? What does the breath carry when there are no more words? As the body quiets, what happens when the dance becomes an offering?
We will dance with shedding and remembering. With gravity and lightness. With the visible and the barely perceptible. With the strange generosity of becoming bare.
Because perhaps winter is not empty.
Perhaps the quiet is an invitation to devotion
a bow toward what remains,
listening for the sacred in the barely perceptible,
trusting what is gathering beyond our knowing.
On this threshold between becoming and being, some things become clearer when we stop asking them to speak. We begin to listen differently - to pulse, to breath, to the quiet intelligence of the body.
Here, the dance has not disappeared. It has simply become more subtle.
The pulse moves beneath the quiet. Breath travels through the open space. The body keeps what it knows.
And somewhere within that spaciousness, the next movement is already beginning.
DISSOLVE invites us to meet that threshold together - to rejoice in what has moved through us, remember what the body knows, and follow the dance as it dissolves into a quieter form of devotion.
