Join us for a fun-filled summer experience at South Cave Leisure Centre, designed
specifically for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and
Disabilities (SEND).
Our exciting programme includes arts and crafts, inclusive music sessions, karaoke,
street dance, SEND drama, disability sports and our popular Get
Glowing experience.
Get Glowing takes place in a darkened sports hall illuminated by specialist UV
lighting and glow-in-the-dark multi-skills equipment. This unique sensory
environment allows children and young people to take part in inclusive games and
adapted sports while exploring movement, colour and play in a fun and engaging
setting.
These fun and inclusive sessions provide children and young people with the
opportunity to explore movement, music, storytelling and self-expression through
dance, drama and performance activities in a supportive and welcoming
environment. Participants will enjoy drama games, role play, improvisation, character
creation, singing, karaoke and performance-based activities designed to build
confidence, encourage communication and social interaction, and create
opportunities for creativity and self-expression while having fun and making new
friends.
You can choose to book a morning session, an afternoon session or a full day,
depending on your child's needs and interests.
A packed lunch will be provided, with a choice of tuna, cheese, ham or egg
sandwiches, along with fruit and a drink. Healthy snacks will also be available
throughout the day. Children are welcome to bring their own packed lunch if
preferred.
Parents, carers and personal assistants are welcome to attend with prior
arrangement and appropriate safeguarding checks. Please contact us before

Families in receipt of benefits related free school meals or council tax support can
access activities free of charge for children aged 4 to 16 years who attend an East

The price to attend the full day at South Cave is £30 with lunch provided, or £25 if you bring your own packed lunch. To attend half a day the cost will be £20 with lunch provided, or £15 if you bring your own packed lunch.
