Pinewood Outdoor Activity Centre – Summer Outdoor Adventures

Join us for an exciting summer adventure at Pinewood Outdoor Activity Centre,
designed specifically for children and young people with Special Educational Needs
and Disabilities (SEND).
Activities will include the impressive Triple Tower Adventure Playground, nature and
woodland walks, mountain biking and use of the dedicated 400-metre mountain bike
track. These activities provide plenty of opportunities for adventure, exploration and
outdoor fun.
Located in the beautiful countryside near Brandesburton, Pinewood offers a safe and
stimulating outdoor environment where children and young people can explore
nature, develop confidence, use their imagination and enjoy new experiences
through positive risk-taking. The site is not open to the general public, giving
participants exclusive use of the facilities in a secure and supportive setting.
All activities will be adapted to meet individual needs and abilities, ensuring that
every participant can take part, develop new skills and enjoy a positive and inclusive
experience.
This is an outdoor session, so please ensure your child is dressed appropriately for
the weather and wears suitable footwear.
You can choose to book a morning session, an afternoon session or a full day,
depending on your child's needs and interests.
A packed lunch will be provided, with a choice of tuna, cheese, ham or egg
sandwiches, along with fruit and a drink. Healthy snacks will also be available
throughout the day. Children are welcome to bring their own packed lunch if
preferred.
Parents, carers and personal assistants are welcome to attend with prior
arrangement and appropriate safeguarding checks. Please contact us before

access activities free of charge for children aged 4 to 16 years who attend an East
