Welton Waters Adventure Centre – Water Adventure Days

Join us for an exciting summer adventure at Welton Waters Adventure Centre,
designed specifically for children and young people with Special Educational Needs
and Disabilities (SEND).
Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of exciting water and
land-based activities, including giant paddleboarding, kayaking, raft building and
bushcraft. These engaging activities encourage teamwork, confidence building,
problem-solving and outdoor exploration in a safe and supportive environment.
Welton Waters Adventure Centre is a recognised Royal Yachting Association (RYA)
Training Centre and is Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA) approved,
with over 10 years of experience delivering high-quality outdoor education and
adventure activities. All sessions will be led by their experienced and fully qualified
instructors.
Please bring a swimming costume or swim shorts, a towel, sliders or Crocs, and
goggles, if preferred, for use in the water. All life preserver equipment, such as life
jackets, will be provided by Welton Waters.
All activities will be adapted to meet individual needs and abilities, ensuring that
every participant can take part, develop new skills and enjoy a positive and inclusive
experience.
You can choose to book a morning session, an afternoon session or a full day,
depending on your child's needs and interests.
A packed lunch will be provided, with a choice of tuna, cheese, ham or egg
sandwiches, along with fruit and a drink. Healthy snacks will also be available
throughout the day. Children are welcome to bring their own packed lunch if
preferred.
Parents, carers and personal assistants are welcome to attend with prior
arrangement and appropriate safeguarding checks. Please contact us before

access activities free of charge for children aged 4 to 16 years who attend an East
