Join Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure for Mental Health Awareness Week.
Forest Yoga aims to relive anxiety, de-stress’s and calm the mind, increases cognitive function, concentration and gives you more energy, it re-connects you with nature and the universe.
It also strengthens the body and improves flexibility especially in the hips, therefore improving balance reducing stiffness and giving better stability. It can improve back, joint and arthritis pain, change body shape, aid weight loss and even help you sleep better.
London Borough of Redbridge have partnered with Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure and Redbridge Institute Adult Education to deliver this session as part of their new project: Active Body, Healthy Mind for Mental Health Awareness Week.
Please wear appropriate footwear (trainers, exercise shoes), comfortable clothing and bring water to keep hydrated.
The meeting point will be the new Visitor's Centre at Hainault Forest.
Please aim to arrive at 10:15am to allow us time to check you in and walk into the Forest to the location for Yoga.
Once registered a further e-mail will be sent out with more information including meeting points.
Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one, if not we will have spares.
