Take on the Coxhoe Trail Run, a scenic and challenging route full of character, winding through the beautiful countryside of County Durham. The course undulates over old railway lines and quarry paths between Coxhoe and Kelloe, offering a mix of terrain and stunning views.
Starting at the public byway near Coxhoe Hall, runners will take on an approximately 10K Garmin-measured route along the Old Kelloe Way via the well-marked Limestone Linx loop, finishing close to the starting point.

Welcome to the Coxhoe Trail Run!
Please read the information below to ensure your day runs smoothly.
đź•— On the Day Schedule
8:30am: Registration opens – collect your t-shirt & number from Active Life Centre @Coxhoe
9:30am: Registration closes – last chance to collect numbers
9:50am: Run briefing begins (please be ready and listening)
10:00am: Run starts
đźš— Parking Information
Limited parking (around 30 spaces) is available at Coxhoe Leisure Centre – first come, first served. If parking in nearby streets, please be considerate of local residents and avoid blocking driveways or access routes.
🚶‍♀️ Getting to the Start Point
Please note: the start line is approximately a 20–25 minute walk from the registration area.
Please allow enough time after registration to make your way there and be ready for the run briefing at 9:50am.
