Scout Survival Skills Activity Badge

Details

This 3 DAY course aims to equip Scouts with practical survival skills, resilience, and confidence through hands-on outdoor challenges and realistic expedition scenarios. By the end, participants will be able to safely camp and thrive in outdoor environments, using teamwork, problem-solving, and resourcefulness to look after themselves and others.

The programme covers a wide range of skills including fire lighting, shelter building, water purification, outdoor first aid, safe tool use, food preparation (including wild and improvised sources), navigation of camp life, and emergency techniques such as signalling for rescue and basic sea survival.

Refunds will not be available after 2nd May, unless the candidate’s place is successfully filled from the waiting list.
